Face Space

Hello All!
Sean Holmes here. You have might of heard me on the Boldly Going Nowhere podcast. I'm the one blonde hai...wait (audio podcast, duh?!) I'm the (only) one that is laughing at the stupid names Justin pronounces from the Rock Snob's Dictionary aka 'The Hipster Bible'.
Although music has a lot to deal with the site I am going to talk about, I would like to reference your lost friend. Someone you use to hang out with all the time, especially on weeknights while listening to your recently purchased music from a Sam Goody's.
  • Tangent: Yes those existed once. Ask your Parents or the Internets. One whom will say, "Do you mean Sam's Goodies?" Tangent over.
I am speaking of Myspace.com. The site that abruptly used to take up all of your free time that Facebook does now.  I came across the site while cleaning out my junk mail.  Once I found the old site, It was like cleaning out the attic and I stumble across my old high school yearbook.  I thought it was a piece of the "once hip" photos that you posted for the world and friends to see for the very first time.  It made me and my friends laugh at the old pictures of myself.  I am fond of this one.

And this one.

...wow

For more pictures of me, CLICK_HERE!

I, as well as anyone who looked at them, laughed while I sit and roll my eyes.  My message here is simple. Look to the past. I believe that in a age were everyone is trying desperately to look at something new (while they should be working).  Take the time to look at your previous photos. Not just at Myspace. But Friendster, Geocities, or whatever social network you used to use before you knew it was a called "Surfin' the Web".  Feel free to share what you want and I might share it on the podcast or post it on our Tumblr.  Until next time, This is Sean Holmes, reminding you to take your weekly nostalgia pills.
